Hi, I'm Amy!  


Welcome to TANA Yoga. There are two questions I get asked all the time.  First, "Why do you practice yoga?" and "What does TANA mean?"  To answer the first question, I practice because it makes me feel better. It's really that simple for me. I keep a fast-paced, busy lifestyle and yoga adds the calm. The balance, and deep connection I need to get away from the worries of the day.  It is my self-care non-negotiable.  It isn't why I started the practice, however.  I started purely for the physical challenge.  A completely ego-driven agenda to master the "big poses," which ultimately led to injury, and there's nothing like an injury to set you straight.  Yoga is the hardest and greatest thing I've ever done.  It is my non-negotiable.  As for the second question, "What does TANA mean?" It means:  there are no accidents.  My hope for everyone is that they add YOGA to their personal wellness plan.
